Climate- is the typical weather in a region over a long period of time.
Weather- is the atomspheric conditions of a location at a specific moment in time. weather often changes, but climate, with only slight occasional variations, remains generally the same.
Tropical Rain- Two climates occur in the warm tropics, where the rainfall is extremely heavy.
Trees grow in the tropical wet areas.
Dry- In deserts annual preciptation is ten inches or less Lack of water,not high temperatures cause deserts.
Deserts are often called Arid which means Lacking moisture. Deserts can occur at any latitude, cold or hot.
Cold- Some regions recieve sufficient rainfall but are too cold to support many kinds of plants.
Nothing grows on the world's two ice caps in antartica and greenland, wich has ice that never melts.
Moderate- Most of the world's good farmland and major civilizations are located in the four climate regions with moderate rainfall and tempertures.
Humid subtropical refers to lands just above the tropics that recieve about fifty inches of rain a year, mostly in the summer.
